Within the Department of Precision Health, Dr. Magali Perquin explores the determinants of cognitive health mainly in aging. She also focuses on explaining observed findings using neuroimaging strategies in an exploratory approach that aims to expand the possibilities of neuroepidemiology. Lastly, special attention has been devoted to cognitive impairment observed in individuals suffering from long COVID. 

To explore cognition in long-COVID, with digital and classical neuropsychological tools, we are currently looking for a highly motivated research-focused neuropsychologist who enjoys making his/her clinical experience in serving research. The neuropsychologist will be assigned to the DigiCog project (, and will closely interact with the Clinical and Epidemiological Investigation Center (CIEC).
Key Accountabilities
  •  Participate in the consortium meetings and management of the research project
  • Provide critical expertise, on the chosen tools but also on the neuropsychological data collected
  • Setup and optimization of workflows for participants recruitment, in collaboration with the CIEC
  • Conduct the neuropsychological evaluation of the participating cohort of the research project: by applying tests for assessing several cognitive functions (such as memory, executive…) during interviews with participants
  • Acquire and store neuropsychological and research data, based on paper-case report form (CRF) and eCRF: Collect, encode and assemble research data
  • Participation in the interpretation of research findings obtained
  • Editing and sign-off on preliminary research reports
  • Respect experimental settings, standardization of procedures, and application to existing protocols
  •  Master 2 in neuropsychology
  • Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English, French and German, and oral communication skills in Luxembourgish are desirable. Knowledge of any other language will be seen as an asset
  • Ability to adapt and excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • As a self-starter, working with minimum supervision, you will take ownership of your tasks and take pride in providing a high level of service. Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong communication as well as solid stakeholder management skills
  • Practical experience in healthcare/science will be seen as asset
  • High level competency in MS Office
