The administrative assistant will be part of the National Centre of Excellence on Research on Parkinson’s disease (NCER-PD) group and the digital Medicine group (dMed) in the Translational Medicine Operations Hub.  

The NCER-PD, is an interdisciplinary program combining clinical, experimental, and computational approaches to Parkinson’s disease research. NCER-PD is a flagship programme funded by the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR) set up in Luxembourg in 2015. It aims at improving the diagnosis and stratification of Parkinson’s disease to allow earlier diagnosis, preventive treatment, and personalised medicine. Since 2021 NCER-PD is extended by the FNR-PEARL Program “Digital Medicine” that conducts clinical studies on digital tools and healthcare technologies.
The Administrative Assistant will provide expertise to support the activities associated with setting up and running an international clinical project and manage the activities of the groups.


  • Answer phone calls and emails from participants
  • Support participants to fill out online surveys in EN, FR and DE and help participants with technical problems linked to the online survey
  • Call the potential participants, explain the study and answer questions
  • Administrative follow-up of the participants in the studies
  • Update study files to trace the activities
  • Supporting the organization and coordination of digital studies
  • Manage the administrative activities of the clinical research teams associated to the NCER-PD, i.e. Digital Medicine group (dMed) at Luxembourg Institute of Health (LIH)
  • Align administrative activities of the translational research at LIH with participating research institutions in Luxembourg i.e. the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB) and the Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg (CHL)
Key skills, experience and qualifications
  • Language skills: Fluency in French, German and English
  • Any other language in use in Luxembourg would also be an asset
  • Profile with medical/health background and/or biological knowledge
  • Excellent communication and convincing skills
  • Able to work in a multidisciplinary team,  meticulous and autonome
  • Comfortable with computer tools (Word, Excel, database..)
  • Experience in administrative tasks
  • Ability to work with different profiles and people from different experiences and cultural backgrounds
